SAD Ceramics wants everyone to be able to browse this site with the same ease, whatever device or assistive technology they use.
What has been done
- The site aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
- Every page has a clear heading structure, a skip link, and a consistent navigation order.
- All images of work carry descriptive alternative text.
- Text and interface colours meet the required contrast ratios on every background.
- Everything can be operated with a keyboard, including the image viewer and the slideshow, and focus is always visible.
- Animation is reduced or removed when your system asks for reduced motion.
- Text can be resized up to 200% without loss of content.
Known limitations
Some photographs from the studio are decorative in nature and are described only briefly. If a description is not enough, please ask and I will send more detail.
